Birthday update

Thanks for those who replied to my last post. I really appreciate your prayers and good thoughts.

The birthday went well. I made 3 different desserts just to be sure there would be something he liked!

He actually ate 2 out of the 3. The custard was too hard. I couldn't even get it out of the ice cream ball! So we skipped that and had no-sugar, no-fat pudding (vanilla) pie. Luke's I made with a nut crust and the rest of us had a graham cracker crust. I also made a chocolate cupcake (with almond meal) and cream cheese frosting.

It was a fun day. We woke him up with gifts and songs and he loved blowing out his candles.
